J Hunter Returns [ LISTEN NOW ON ITUNES ]
Tyler Cruver shows how Clay is the Creative Tool for GTM Growth
- Clay is a hub or workbench for your apps to streamline your list curation and outbound efforts.
- Clay is deceptively simple at first.
- It's based on sheets.
- Example of some basic functions:
- Email lookup
- LinkedIn lookup
- Claygent: it can do research on the internet
- AI doesn't interact well with the real world
- Claygent helps you get around that by merging scraping with AI
- Data organization and outreach issues
- Maybe you have leads from a tradeshow and it's too labor-intensive to follow up with them
- Start with "Do these people have LinkedIn profiles?"
- Actions > Import > Find Companies, then drill down
- This might take some refining and research
- Tools like Apollo and Instantly keep you as a captive agent of their database and you can't go do research from within those tools. The bigger they are, the bigger the gaps they have.
- Claygent: GPT 4 Mini
- Mission:
- Leverage its integration with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Smartlead, etc.
- Create two tables: company and contacts
- Add enrichment: LeadMagic, Hunter, Prospeo, etc.
- Validate via ZeroBounce, etc.
- Leverage Waterfalls to do your data enrichment
- Instantly and SmartLead (he likes the user interface of Instantly) (Apollo is not his first option)
